App-based platforms
Booking platforms are genuinely good at what they are built for: fast, standardised, recurring work at a predictable hourly rate, booked in a few taps. If you want two hours of routine cleaning on Tuesday and you do not much mind who arrives, this is the efficient choice. The trade-off is that the platform matches you with whoever is available, so continuity and specialist capability vary between visits.
Specialist local companies
A specialist company sizes the crew to the property, brings its own equipment for the specific job, and carries one supervisor across the work. That matters most where the job is not standard: post-construction dust, grease-laden extract ducting, marble restoration, or a villa that needs six people for a day. It is usually less convenient to book and more accountable once booked.
Individual cleaners
Hiring an individual directly is the cheapest option and works well for routine housekeeping where you build a relationship over time. The risks are practical rather than moral: no insurance if something is damaged, no cover when they are unavailable, and no equipment beyond what your home holds. For deep cleaning or anything technical, the equipment gap is the binding constraint.
Which to use for which job
Routine weekly cleaning suits a platform or an individual. Deep cleaning, AC duct and coil cleaning, painting, marble restoration and post-construction work suit a specialist company, because all five are equipment-led and go wrong in expensive ways when under-resourced.
What to compare rather than price
Compare the crew size, the equipment brought, whether the price is fixed after an inspection, whether staff are insured, and whether you receive evidence of the work. Those five differences explain almost every price gap you will see in the Dubai market.

Inspection, no obligation. Compare it against anything else you have. Send us a message and we will confirm an inspection slot, usually the same day.
