Restorative Deep Cleaning for Neglected Properties

Properties left empty, neglected or handed back in poor condition: assessed first, cleared and cleaned in stages, with an honest view on what will not recover.

The short answer

Properties left empty, neglected or handed back in poor condition: assessed first, cleared and cleaned in stages, with an honest view on what will not recover.

Some properties are past a deep clean. A villa closed for two summers, a unit handed back in poor condition, a home after a long illness or a bereavement — these need assessment and staging, not a standard visit.

The first visit is an inspection: what can be cleaned, what has to be replaced, what needs a trade rather than a cleaner. You get that in writing before anyone starts.

What the visit covers

  • Assessment of what is recoverable and what is not
  • Clearance and waste removal, staged room by room
  • Deep cleaning in passes, with settling time between
  • Mould, damp and odour sources identified and treated
  • Soft furnishings assessed; unsalvageable items named rather than cleaned
  • AC, tanks and drainage checked as part of the reset
questions

Asked about this

Odour follows its source. Once that is removed and the surfaces are treated, usually yes. Where it is in the fabric of the building we will say so.

Yes, as part of the scope, with disposal arranged.

Commonly two or three. Trying to do it in one is how things get missed.

In writing after an inspection, with every item named. The visit costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
