How we carry this out

Instruments carried

Insulation resistance tester, loop impedance tester, RCD tester, clamp meter, cable and stud locator, thermal camera.

Values we record

Insulation resistance in megohms, earth fault loop impedance, RCD trip time in milliseconds, and load current per circuit.

Materials

Copper cable to the correct CSA for the load and the run length. No aluminium substitution in final circuits.
