When Is the Best Time to Paint in Dubai?

Why UAE heat and humidity change painting results, and how to schedule interior and exterior work.

For exterior work, October to April. Painting a sun-facing elevation in peak summer means the coating skins before it can level, which shows as roller marks, poor adhesion and early failure.

Interior painting runs year-round, because the AC controls both temperature and humidity. The constraint indoors is ventilation and recoat timing, not the season.

Humidity matters as much as heat. Coating a surface that has not fully dried after washing traps moisture underneath, and that is a common cause of blistering on balconies and parapets.

Respect the recoat interval on the tin. Applying a second coat early looks efficient and produces a soft film that marks as soon as it is wiped, which is a repaint rather than a touch-up.

Schedule around handover dates with slack. Paint needs curing time, and an inspection booked for the morning after the last coat is how snag lists get written.
