Book the clean before you move furniture in. An empty property is the only time skirting, window tracks, cupboard interiors and balcony drains are fully accessible.
Expect construction dust to return for weeks. It sits in ceiling voids and AC returns and drops gradually, which is why a single visit often feels like it did not hold.
Have the AC system cleaned in the same period. A new system that ran during fit-out has already pulled fine dust through the coil and duct run, and it will redistribute it every time it starts.
Check silicone and grout before the defects liability period ends. Smeared silicone and hollow tiles are developer snags, and they are far easier to claim in the first months than later.
Photograph everything at handover. It costs nothing and it settles disputes about what was pre-existing when you eventually move out.
