Removing Mould Without Filling the House With Bleach

Bleach is the household default and it is the wrong tool for most of what people use it on.

What matters, and why.

Where bleach fails

On porous surfaces it removes the colour and leaves the root. The growth returns looking exactly as it did, and the household has breathed chlorine for nothing.

What we use instead

Biocidal products chosen for the substrate, applied with the correct dwell time, then removed rather than left to dry in place.

Mechanical first

Physically removing growth matters more than the product. A treated but unremoved colony is still there.

Homes with children and pets

Non-toxic and low-residue as standard, with a stated wait before the room is used again. Where something stronger is genuinely required, we schedule it for an empty property.

If this is something you would rather hand over, our mould treatment and deep cleaning is scoped at an inspection and confirmed in writing before any work begins. We will also tell you when a job does not need us.

Questions

Answered plainly.

Partially, on non-porous surfaces. It is also acidic and will etch natural stone, so not in a marble bathroom.

They should not be used in occupied spaces. We do not use them in homes.

Small surface patches, yes, with gloves and ventilation. Anything recurring or larger than a hand span is worth looking at properly.
