Sofa and upholstery cleaning in Masdar City by hot-water extraction, with the fabric code checked first and the piece dried before it goes back into use.
Upholstery holds body oils, skin, dust and whatever the air conditioning has been circulating. Extraction removes it; steam alone heats it and leaves most of it in the fabric.
In Masdar City, buildings designed for shading and airflow, where the mechanical systems are the main dust path, so what settles into a sofa here is a mix of fine dust and the residue of a sealed, cooled room.
Sofa and upholstery cleaning in Masdar City, item by item
- Fabric code identified before anything wet touches the piece
- Slow HEPA vacuuming of cushions, crevices and the frame
- Pre-treatment, gentle agitation and hot-water extraction
- Dry passes until the recovery tank stops filling
- Cushion interiors and the underside where the construction allows
- Air movement to shorten drying before the piece is used again
Method, not improvisation
- Manufacturer's cleaning code decides the method, not the appearance of the fabric
- Solvent-only fabrics are never wet cleaned, whatever the stain
- Leather is treated as leather: cleaned and conditioned, not extracted
- Fabric protection offered afterwards, applied to a clean piece rather than over soil
