Pets, Dander and a New Baby in the House

You do not have to rehome a pet. You do have to change how the house is cleaned.

What matters, and why.

Where dander collects

Soft furnishings, carpet, bedding and the AC return. It is lighter than dust and travels further through the air system.

The bedroom rule

Keeping pets out of the nursery is the single highest-impact decision, and it is easier to establish before the baby arrives than after.

Extraction and filters

Soft furnishings extracted rather than vacuumed, filters changed more often, and the return grille cleaned on a shorter cycle.

Honest expectation

Cleaning reduces the load substantially. It does not eliminate an allergen from a home where the animal lives, and we will not pretend otherwise.

If this is something you would rather hand over, our non-toxic deep cleaning is scoped at an inspection and confirmed in writing before any work begins. We will also tell you when a job does not need us.

Questions

Answered plainly.

Quarterly extraction of soft furnishings, monthly filter attention.

In a specific room, measurably. Not as a whole-house solution on their own.

It lives in the filling rather than the cover, so treatment goes into the foam followed by controlled drying.
