Playrooms, Mats and Soft Play Surfaces

A playroom concentrates hand and mouth contact into a small area with a lot of soft surface.

What matters, and why.

Foam mats

Lifted and cleaned both faces, with the floor beneath done. What accumulates between interlocking mats is the part nobody sees.

Soft toys and fabric

Anything washable goes through a hot wash. Fabric items that cannot be washed are extracted or steam treated by material.

Hard surfaces

Cleaned then disinfected with a stated contact time, and rinsed. A disinfectant wiped off after ten seconds has not disinfected anything.

What we do not do

Structural inspection of soft play equipment is a separate specialist discipline. We clean surfaces and matting and say so plainly.

If this is something you would rather hand over, our non-toxic deep cleaning is scoped at an inspection and confirmed in writing before any work begins. We will also tell you when a job does not need us.

Balls can be cleaned in batches. It is slow work and we quote it honestly rather than underestimating it.
